My name is Kevin Holy, and Holy Moly started as something simple: a chance to get people together, spend a day on the course, and enjoy the kind of community that makes events like this worth building.

Over time, it became clear this outing could be more than just golf. It could be a way to bring friends, family, local businesses, and supporters together around a cause that genuinely matters to me.

That is why this event supports the Lake Humane Society. Their work gives animals a real chance at safety, medical care, and a home, and I wanted Holy Moly to become one of the ways our community helps make that possible.

My wife Kara and I adopted both of our dogs, and that experience changed us. It is a big part of why this cause feels so personal, and why we care so deeply about supporting adoption, shelter care, and the people who make second chances possible.

Right now, Delphi is battling lymphoma, which has made this mission even closer to home for us. Seeing how much love, care, and medical support matter only strengthens our commitment to helping animals get the treatment and support they need.

What I love most about this outing is that it feels personal. It is competitive, fun, and well-run, but it is also built around heart. Every team registration, sponsorship, raffle entry, and donation helps turn a great day into something meaningful.

I am grateful to everyone who shows up, spreads the word, and supports what we are building. My goal is to keep growing Holy Moly into an event people look forward to every year, not only because it is a great outing, but because it does real good.
